In 2016, we set out with a simple but meaningful goal: to create a comfortable, supportive training environment where women could build their firearm skills with patience, encouragement, and confidence. What began as a gentle, student‑focused approach quickly grew into something more. As our early students became more capable and self-assured, others saw the impact and wanted to be part of that same experience.
Today, we’ve expanded far beyond those first classes. We now offer a wide range of training opportunities for everyone—whether you’re learning to handle your own firearm, exploring new platforms, or developing skills across multiple disciplines. No matter where you start, our commitment remains the same: respectful instruction, a calm and empowering atmosphere, and training that meets you exactly where you are.
We train our mind, body, and spirit to work together through purposeful repetition—building true “muscle memory” that helps us respond quickly and decisively during a negative encounter. This preparation gives us precious time to act, create space, and improve our chances of safely navigating a dangerous situation.

This gets you prepared for our range as well as other ranges and is definitely recommended for our future range events.
This is 3 hour class, probably should be a 4, where we will discuss safety, legalities, and talk through some scenarios.
Then hands on with our FA to show grip, thumbs and finger placement, sight alignment, mag change, stance, and draw.
Then its live fire.
This is 4 hour class, where we will discuss safety, loading and unloading, grip, thumbs and finger placement, sight alignment, mag change, stance, and rifle presenting.
Then its live fire on the range and breaking down, cleaning, re-assemble, and function check.
This class is for guys and gals, of different levels of experience. It is a slightly faster pace with minimal amount of correction/instruction.
we will be running different scenarios as well as incorporating other defensive tools in the process.
Lead by SLED certified CWP instructor Mark Trippi, this will be an exciting fun filled class to obtain your SC CWP.
“I enjoy coming out and shooting with the ladies at least once a month. We are all very supportive of each other and have great instructors. We do a variety of different scenarios from learning how to clear rooms, shooting center mass, and hitting steal targets. We have even learned what to do if we are sitting on a toilet and we are attacked. You just better have your gun on you at all times, be aware of your surroundings, know when to shoot or not shoot, and have the confidence to shoot someone when you need to.”

Mark,
I am so appreciative and impressed for what you have created. The atmosphere is perfect for learning as well as building confidence and improving one’s skills on the range.
The scenarios you create are real live ones that could happen at any time. The support you give each shooter as they go through the course not only shows you the right way but WHY it’s the right way and what could happen if done differently.
The rules you have set are great especially when it comes to coed/partner day. You are the instructor and not the partner. That alone builds confidence, especially in a female shooter.
I am thankful not only for the lifelong friendships we share, but for the opportunity to attend your classes and be on your course knowing each time I will improve and will take away something new. It truly is a great experience each and every time.”
